It’s frustrating because I know that I often stray into the thickets of passive language and my thoughts on the page emerge as broken scabs.
It’s frustrating because I can’t throw out a semicolon in its proper environments without heavy thought. When I see one on the page it hits me to the quick and I try to ring through the rules that have long fallen behind the shelves.
It’s frustrating because I should be throwing more semicolons into the world; however, I can’t seem to find the time.
