A couple of days ago I got hooked into a certain train of thought and now I can’t seem to derail it. A slippery slope of negative attitudes. A harsh realism. Great moments of dubiety.
There are a great many possible turns available for the phrase: “The more you reach out the more…” — but I think I’m beginning to side with the forgotten vet, John Evans — who believes that “The more you reach out, the more they throw rocks and stones at you.” Have a look around his sight er, oops… site.
