Survived my first Oprah-effect day. Though I had read somewhere earlier in the day that Oprah had chosen a book that has been required reading for most high school students in the past decade as her new “Oprah bookclub book,” I didn’t register the thought until about 4:55pm eastern time when the phone started ringing like crazy and the hold requests started pouring in.
Next time I’ll know.
