For growing, mint is pretty awesome and will grow like hotcakes. Basil is a nice grower, too. Most herbs are pretty happy to grow in whatever conditions you give them, to be honest. There are some spots we missed where it kinda looks like bubbles - but not that many, and overall it was a success. Moms had already gone out and purchased me some silver planter thingies for the herb garden before I even mentioned it here - so I'll definitely be setting that up - though I'm not quite sure which herbs I should be looking to stock up on, I'm sure I'll figure it out. I was looking at some ikea carts as well - but I also have a 20% off entire purchase from Bed Bath & Beyond - so they may have won me over with that. PLUS - IKEA changed their FONT! How many coats of poly did you put down? (I remember having to do more than I wanted to when I redid mine in my old Mount P house.) Woot for window herb garden!
