Been really busy of late. In the process of buying a home. I have promised a movie of the British experience, and it will come. But for now I am maintaining stress levels by playing with my new iPhone – with which this post was made

Managed to hit one of those valleys tonight. I don’t know if it was the weather – could’ve been. I’ve been meaning to do so many things lately and talk to so many of you…but I’ve been stuck in a rut of routine.

I’m thinking of mainly not calling Dan – or Daaaaaaaaaaan – as he called me back in November. It’s a call I’ve been meaning to return – but just haven’t figured out when it won’t be awkward to make that call.

I’ve been thinking of Ms. Reed – my mom away from mom – who has to deal with heaps upon heaps – and she should know that I love her – but I suck at getting things done.

I’ve been thinking about all my friends that I haven’t been in touch with lately – and who I would love to see more often.

I’ve been thinking about people I shouldn’t be – and even though they despise me – I wish them well.

And that’s probably why I got bored and took the opportunity of a sudden squall to make this video.

Last night was the brightest moon of the year for 2009 – got that out of the way quick. Of course it looked much better IRL – as there was a halo filtering through the clouds – and the moon was a solid mass – not this amorphous blob of light.

Early last month, on the anniversary of John Lennon’s death, a small meme took a small portion of the Internet by storm. It began, in under 140 characters, in a twitter conversation amongst elite members of #teamnun – a team that was itself only formed two months ago. It would appear that much of the content generation was spawned by infobunny, a law librarian in the UK who also “maintains” a blog on twitter apps.

A large portion of the credit must also go to @manxstef, who in his attempts to get back in the infobunny’s good graces, posted the first known #bumsandgin pic. It was only a matter of time before an international phenomenon was born, and #bumsandgin photos began to emerge from all corners of the Interwebz. There were even publication posters produced requesting submissions, a video, and a number of retweets.

As the number of submissions began to increase – it occurred to me that a new year, the year currently upon us, was rapidly approaching. With the amount of time I was spending on #bumsandgin, it became clear to me that a time management tool celebrating this distraction was of utmost importance. I decided to create a #bumsandgin calendar.

Now, 2 days past the deadline, the calendar is finally done. I am freeing it to the Interwebz in it’s original PNG state, a zipped archive of the images weighing in at over 133MB. Quite the download. High Quality jpgs are also available for your perusal should you be hesitant in the decision to engage the bandwidth demons.
