If you don't already know the story of why the site was missing for so long -- read on to the extended tale...
Something I noticed yesterday - if you do a search for - this is your brain on blog on google -- you'll see that there is another site out there with that title. Apparently it was around prior to this site - but was down for a few months right after we took off...So I'm thinking about changing the name of my site, but wouldn't mind hearing some suggestions...I'm thinking about something like - yezbick.com: Yet Another Revisionist Historian...
Some things I noticed and bookmarked while I was away -

One night after several beers -- I held up a record and studied its grooves -- it was then I noticed that you could see familiar changes -- the breaks and what not were right there in front of you. I did a search and came up with this article about a man who can identify entire symphonys just by looking at the grooves...

Adieu
Anybody who actually kept their devotion to yezbick.com alive the past few months knows that there has been some crazy sheet going down around here. First the whole ordeal with Featureprice going under and taking several thousands of dollahs from a lotta folks across the country left brother and I without a cyber home for a few frightening days. Sooner than I woulda thought - we found a new place to hang our coats -- and we've been residing at logjamming.com ever since. Unfortunately - the two versions of the Berkeley DB that were used on these two different servers were incompatible - and I couldn't log in to my movabletype program -- so there was the threat of losing my archives...something I really didn't want to do without. Well -- Loren and Josh, the hosts of my new home - really tried to dump and load all my data back into its correct locations -- but over time they grew tired of me - and our correspondence dropped off the face of the earth.
Well -- that forced me into doing a lot of DNS (domain name server) switching back and forth - eventually losing track of where exactly all my data was. Finally - I threw in the towel -- I had the rudiments of gruel for yezbick.com - I just needed to bite the bullet and realize that there was a chance I could lose the past year's material. But - as you can see - I have managed to cordon it off - the only side effect being that the search of this site won't dig back into those entries...I mean - if you're trying to find that entry where I got the peanut wedged in my nose until it started to bleed - you'll just have to turn to google for the particulars.

I believe that was a Beer Nut , and it was pushed into your nose.
welcome back
Asshole.
uhhhhh...I wonder what that's about...Let me just clarify - Loren and Josh are great peeps...So hopefully they don't think I'm belittling their efforts... I appreciate everything they did...Then again - that could just be that dickhole of a roommate I have trying to be funny...
