Average White Blog

There's still plenty of work left to be done in picking up the smithereens of what used to be a fairly smooth info architecture around here. The archive templates are still lacking life - and the front page of Yezbick.com needs to have the respective archive links take over the sidebar on the name clicks in order for the usability factor to begin to dust itself off and raise its soft chin once again.

But that's just geek talk. Let's talk about nerd stuff.

I got this digital voice recorder for the holidays/birthday from Willishrinx -- and today finally left the house for awhile to grab an adapter.

Scary thing is -- this could lead to some podcasting -- if I felt any urge to do that -- which I don't -- because my speaking voice is almost as annoying as my written word.

Funny thing is -- my voice is still doing the same thing it has been doing for a long time -- makin' itself a fool and pulling others unwittingly into the act. Case in point -- an instance of what the digital voice recorder (which I suppose needs a name, along the lines of derb or blork, something snarfy) picked up during the New Years Eve celebrations: Average White Band's 'Play that Funky Music White Boy' - as performed by the Karaoke Revolution Revelers -- who also could use a name for their collective.
