The library listservs are alive recently with news that Google Book Search has rolled out two new features: Downloading Out of Print Books that are in the public domain and their new library search futures that they provide details of here and here.
Lots of fussiness in those listservs...
Dreams are wonderful and elusive creatures that I don't have to worry about catching. They come as they please and often don't leave anything behind to let me know they were there in the first place.
Dreams seem to make their own schedules effortlessly. Even when I can't find free time for myself.
That's why I like dreams.
Dreams make you shout out strange things in the night and you wake up in mid-sentence and begin to realize just how crazy you are and you're glad when you're sleeping alone but when you're not...you're glad the person next to you laughs before falling back asleep.
Dreams help you have a belief that you will find the time to redesign that webpage back to how you had it when everybody liked it and you actually felt like posting to it every now and again.
Dreams are for dreamers.
Dreams aren't of the earth and probably shouldn't be of earthly things. I wish I could have that one dream every night where I have to cross my legs just right if I'm to fly above the Earth and everybody's amazed and pointing and I'm like "Damn, I can't believe they haven't figured this shit out yet. All ya gotta do is cross your legs right."
Dreams are remembering nights spent in a tent on a pallet in the Alaska Summer.
Dreams are anything you want them to be.
Dreams are anything but cliché. Which is what this post most certainly is. And I just ended a sentence on a preposition because I'm breakin' ALL the rules.
I'm gonna bring it back. Now that everybody's gone.
Or maybe not.
