onfocus.com asks/wonders/marvels studying the web full time in an academic setting along the lines of what cousin Sean and I were chatting about on the phone the other day. What an interesting dissertation one could create with the topic of weblogs in the realm of sociology or other fields...Just found it interesting someone thinking along the same lines at nearly the same time...in fact ---- here's an article for further perusal: OJR article: Scholars Discover Weblogs Pass Test as Mode of Communication, and there's about 400 more pages to check under the google query dissertation "on weblogs" - and now there's this Mission Accomplished via Blogging Alone
